Toy Story composer Randy Newman writes new distancing song, ‘Stay Away’

You know him from most of his popular songs off the movie “Toy Story,” Randy Newman has made a new song for the coronavirus pandemic. His new song “Stay Away” was requested by Southern California Public Radio station 89.3 KPCC.

"Stay six feet away from other people. Wash your hands religiously and often. Don't touch your face," Newman told viewers prior to singing in the video.

Some of the lyrics of "Stay Away" include: "Stay away from me. Baby, keep your distance, please. Stay away from me. Words of love in times like these. I'm gonna be with you 24 hours a day. A lot of people couldn't stand that. But you can. You'll be with me 24 hours a day. What a lucky man I am.”

At the end of the video he wishes every one of his viewers to be well and gives them his love.
