Here's today's feel-good story:

Youth mentorship charity Big Brothers Big Sisters Of America has received a donation of over $122 million from MacKenzie Scott.

The nonprofit group will use the gift to further help young people to empower them for success in all aspects of life.

The group currently has 230 local offices serving more than 5,000 communities all over the country.

“We are confident that MacKenzie’s investment will compel more people to help grow the village of mentors, volunteers, and donors needed to positively impact young people’s lives today and well into the future,” said CEO Artis Stevens.

“Mentoring is an integral part of the solution… including post-secondary readiness, social emotional learning, and a stronger sense of belonging and inclusion.”
