Salvatore Carfagna, General Manager Of Carfagna’s Market

Starting in 1937 as a corner market in the Linden area, Carfagna’s Inc. has now grown into a multi-faceted business with a retail specialty market, restaurant, catering, and manufacturing. Working in the family business since he could “push a broom”, Salvatore Carfagna is a fourth generation Carfagna in their family business. Graduating from John Carroll University in 2013 with a BS in Business Administration – Marketing, he always wanted to help his family continue their legacy. His father, Sam Carfagna, encouraged all his children to get a college degree and explore life outside the family business. Adhering to his father’s words, Sal spent time as a Salesperson in Advertising and in the Medical Device industry before returning full-time to Carfagna’s Inc.

At Carfagna’s Inc. Sal oversees the Specialty Market as the General Manager while also acting as Director of Marketing and Advertising, but in a family business, job titles are fluid. Using his business degree he helps advance business processes, operations, and new product development. He enjoys his free time cooking, gardening, fishing, and playing with his three children. He and his wife, Abigail, live in Westerville where they both grew up and met at a young age.
