A popular food sold in stores around the country, including in Ohio, has been recalled over a potentially "fatal" health risk.
Hofood99 Inc. has issued a recall of its 200-gram packages of Enoki Mushroom over a possible listeria contamination, according to a recall notice shared June 11 by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. The mushrooms, which were distributed by Hofood99 Inc. to retail stores nationwide, are packaged in green plastic material with the UPC 6 976532 310051 featured on the back label.

As of June 11, there have been no reported illnesses associated with the recall.
