Join 93-3 The Bus for the Westerville Tunnel to Towers 5K Run-Walk

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, established in memory of a fallen 9/11 firefighter, Stephen Siller, whose mission is to honor and support first responders and the military, has announced plans to hold a Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Westerville on Sunday, May 19, during National Police Week.

The event will honor and celebrate Ohio’s first responders—fire, police, EMTs, paramedics—as well as military service heroes who serve, sacrifice, and protect us every day. The Foundation’s Line of Duty program has provided over 20 mortgage-free homes to Ohio families and was there six years ago to support the families of Westerville Division of Police officers Anthony P. Morelli and Eric J. Joering.

The 5K run/walk will take place at the Westerville Sport Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave., Westerville, OH 43081 at 8:00 am on May 19th. Registered walkers and runners will have the opportunity to create their own profile pages that will feature their personal photos and individual stories. Additionally, participants can compete to raise the most funds and recruit the most friends to their team.

The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Westerville is one of more than 75 in a series of runs and tower climbs across the United States this year in support of the programs of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Over 95% of the money raised goes directly to supporting the Foundation’s programs.
