Chris Harrison Teases The 'Most Explosive' Season Of The Bachelorette Ever

Every year, Chris Harrison promises Bachelor Nation is in for the most dramatic seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette yet. As Clare Crawley's turn as The Bachelorette inches closer, the longtime host isn't promising drama—he's teasing the "most explosive" season in the franchise's history. With all the rumors swirling around Crawley's season, it's easy to believe that Harrison's promise will prove to be true.

"Clare took us on a journey the likes of which we have never seen," Harrison shared with Entertainment Tonight. "This will be a roller-coaster ride unlike any other. Clare is always one that wears her heart on her sleeve. She is always emotional. She's not a Bachelorette where I had to think, 'Where is she right now, emotionally? Where does she stand right now?'" he added. "Clare is ready to express herself."

In case you missed all the rumors circulating this summer, Crawley reportedly quit the show after just two weeks of filming. Her reason for stepping down? Finding love early on with one of her suitors, former NFL players Dale Moss. "She came into this unbelievably sincere and serious about finding love, finding a man, and it really wasn't about the pomp and circumstance for her," Harrison explained. "It wasn't about all the pageantry. It was about coming in and finding somebody, and I really respect the fact that this woman knows exactly what she wants and she is not afraid to go get it."

The upcoming season of The Bachelorette was a little different this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Instead of traveling to dream destinations for their dates, Crawley and her suitors filmed the entire season in quarantine at La Quinta resort in Palm Springs. "Bachelor Nation and the world are not ready for what happened inside the [bubble]," Harrison teased. "It is unlike anything we have ever seen on this show before. I know I say that sometimes, but I truly think we have outdone ourselves this time."

Harrison took his assessment one step further, saying Crawley's season "definitely goes up on the Mount Rushmore of wild seasons of 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette.'" Season 16 of The Bachelorette will premiere Tuesday, October 13, at 8 p.m. ET.. Will you be tuning in?
