How Kim Kardashian Really Feels About Kanye West Running For President

Kim Kardashian fully supports her husband Kanye West’s decision to run for president of the United States this year.

In case you missed it, the “Wash Us in the Blood” rapper set social media ablaze over the holiday weekend when he formally announced his presidential bid on Independence Day (July 4). While some celebrities had mixed reactions about West’s announcement, Kim seemingly co-signed her husband’s presidential endeavor by retweeting his statement with an emoji of the American flag.

According to Us Weekly, now we know the Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet is sticking by her man’s side as he hopes to contend against President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden as our next head of state.

“Kanye has been planning this for years and Kim has known about his aspirations and has been supportive,” an insider exclusively told the outlet. “Kanye is passionate about arts and education and wants to support in any way he can.”

West's want to become the president shouldn't be surprising — he teased his political takeover at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in 2015 while performing his song “Only One," singing, “You’ll be the man you always knew you could be — 2020.”

What's more, Yeezy’s already hitting the ground running on his #2020Vision campaign. On Sunday (July 5), the “Black Skinhead” emcee posted images on Twitter unveiling the beginning stages of his new set of “YZY SHLTRS,” which are 50-foot, dome-like structures designed to break the barriers of societal classes. These structures come nearly a year after his initial 2019 prototypes were demolished for violating building codes. (See pics of the wreckage here.)
