Alexandra Shipp Talks "Tragedy Girls", Shaving Her Head And More!

In today's episode of iHeartNow, Z100 New York's Mo'Bounce and the Elvis Duran Show's Bethany Watson were joined by special guest: Alexandra Shipp. This actress, as seen in Straight Outta Compton and X-Men: Apocalypse, is now starring in a new movie, Tragedy Girls. We talk all that plus, is Justin Timberlake going to bring *NSYNC with him onstage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?! Let's discuss.

We all love a good Super Bowl Halftime Show! We've been blessed to see Katy Perry, Coldplay, and more incredible artists perform before. The show must go on, this year with Justin Timberlake. With this announcement rumors started swirling immediately! Will there be an NSYNC reunion? According to the Internet, it seems likely that we'll get a reunion at SBLII this year.... or at least that's what everyone is hoping for!

Alexandra Shipp came in Monday, October 23rd, to talk about her new movie, Tragedy Girls! This "horramedy" (horror and comedy) movie is about two death-obsessed teenage girls who kidnap a serial killer and force him to be their mentor. "It's a dark look on social media," says Alexandra who talks about the two girls having a blog dedicated to serial killers in the movie. The movie is in theaters now, so make sure you check it out!

After talking about her new movie, we went on to discuss if Alexandra will ever shave her head again. The actress played a younger version of Halle Berry in the X-Men movie and had to cut off her hair for the film. Well it sounds like a head shave will be in Alexandra's future the way she discusses it in today's iHeartNow episode! Check out the full conversation above!

Make sure to check back everyday for more iHeartNOW with Elvis Duran. We have everything you need to know about pop culture and more!
