Women Are Taught A Lesson After Being Caught Stealing Mementos From Graves

A heartbreaking crime recently took place at the Grove Street Cemetery in New London, Ohio.

One of the victims was horrified to visit the graves of her parents, grandparents and great grandparents, only to find the mementos placed there were suddenly missing.

“I gave that flower pot to my father for Father’s Day in 1977,” she told WJW Cleveland. “It has no price that they can give me to replace that pot.”

But it seems the two suspects didn’t realize the cemetery’s surveillance cameras were capturing their every move.

The shocking footage reveals two elderly women pulling up in their car, “shopping” through the cemetery for whatever items they wanted, taking them from various graves and putting them in their car. Some of the items stolen were even weighed down by heavy bricks.

Because of the security footage, police were able to identify and charge the two women — and the entire town was shocked to discover the truth behind one of the suspect’s identity.
